Aloha kākou! We are the Kaluau ohana and running a business is a family affair. Co-owner and head of our home, Chef Ikaika is the hand behind every intricately designed product. If he can envision it, most likely he will produce it. Yes, he's got a gift!
Co-owner Mokihana Kaluau and māmā of the ʻAi ʻOno Maui LLC ohana, handles the marketing aspect, sales side, operations manager, accountant and HR.
The next and very vital part of the ʻAi ʻOno Maui LLC ohana are, of course, the keiki (kids). These kingdom builders enjoy collaborating their creative ideas. And let's just say, it sparks inspiration.

In the subject box please let us know the service you are inquiring. For catering services, please include the event type. A minimum of 50 people is required with a 200 people maximum allowance. For guaranteed blocking a 50% of total cost is due. For partnership services, in the description box simply put in your request for our food menu, pastry menu, dessert menu, or all three. Chef Ikaika Kaluau
It all started with a local boy, born and raised on the island of Maui with a passion for food and a heart to serve people.
Academically, Chef Ikaika completed and recieved a degree in the Culinary Arts with an emphasis on baking. As well as, Business and Management at the University of Maui Campus, class of 2009.
Correspondingly, Chef Ikaika began his first job and what is to be the beginning of a very successful career in the hospitality/culinary industry. An industry that would continously develop Chef Ikaika's skills. From mastering breads to honing in on both traditional and modern techniques with pastries, and desserts. In addition to these, Chef Ikaika is very innovative when it comes to the array of flavors and the selection of choice foods he assembles and creates.
Within 20 years, Chef Ikaika has developed experience and familiarity within every function and event. Some of these experiences include, running buffet lines, luau's, catering special events and corporate events, as well as, teach wine pairing courses. Furthermore, Chef Ikaika also has experience in expediting and managing restaurants.
Countless mentorship and progression over the course of 20 years, has developed Chef Ikaika to who he is today. Therefore, Chef Ikaika is delighted to bring all that he has refined to the table. Offering diversity of flavor, style and technique.
